Of all the things in my yard that are emerging from the melting winter snow, the first greens of daffodils are the only things that make me smile.

The rest of the things emerging from the melting snow come from my dogs' rear ends.

Thanks for the smile, Tewkes

-PhoebeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287043388945723817.post-55642657962509537042008-03-16T01:37:00.000+01:002008-03-16T01:37:00.000+01:00Lucy: I can imagine! There was a freakin' flock of 'em! It's like "Invasion of the Robins" or something. I also took it as a sign of spring, though, and it made me happy and hopeful!Janet Kincaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396294382570650966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287043388945723817.post-80776751345378968222008-03-14T14:11:00.000+01:002008-03-14T14:11:00.000+01:00Cool photo! I was really excited about it being a little sign of spring, and then I looked over and there was a HUGE crowd of robins on the grass next to the sidewalk. They were EVERYWHERE. I have never in my life seen so many robins in one place before.

So now I see the robins as a BIG sign of spring. And I am happy about that.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15942269316108576622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287043388945723817.post-1381877672894464752008-03-14T05:12:00.000+01:002008-03-14T05:12:00.000+01:00Sunshine on a cloudy day.My first daffodils in my ...Sunshine on a cloudy day.

My first daffodils in my lily garden are almost ready to bloom (I know daffodils/lili garden) I can't wait for the photo opportunities.Celehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11471318342104018488noreply@blogger.com
