Nano Nano

I bought a new toy yesterday. Here's a picture:

When you sync it with iTunes, it asks you to give it a name.

The name which I have chosen, and by which this iPod nano shall be known upon the registry of Apple Inc. is, Nanet Nano.

Cute, huh?

I thought so.

Sweet gizmo, Nan!

HM: It is sweet! I'll have to post a picture of me with the gizmo. The puppy fits right in the palm of my hand, which makes it cute beyond words!

Too cute, but catchy. So now we need to hear about your playlist.

Cele: My playlist? Hm. Well, more than seven days of music in my Library. Not a lot compared to some folks I know, but plenty for me. Not all of that is on my iPod, though. I'll sync the Christmas albums closer to the holidays.

Still, if I do a shuffle on my Nano, here's what I get:

Hold Me Now, The Thompson Twins
Marble Halls, Enya
Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, Jim Croce
Blue Clear Sky, George Strait
Finale from "The Lady Remembers" by Richard Adler
Venus, Gustav Holst
Dancing Queen, Abba
Grandma's Hands, Keb'Mo
Falls from "The Mission" by Ennio Morricone
Happy Together, The Turtles
True Love, Patsy Cline
Walk Out to Winter, Aztec Camera
Dies irae from "Requiem Mass" by W.A. Mozart
Brian's Song, Johnny Mathis
J'ai Deux Amours, Madeleine Peyroux
So Well, Minnie Driver
Java Jive, The Puppini Sisters
What a Wonderful World, k.d. lang and Tony Bennett
With or Without You, U2
Dosvedanya Mio Bambino, Pink Martini

I've got a little bit of everything and something for everyone...

My iPod feels neglected. He is nameless.

Oh- and I love Madeleine Peyroux!

Liz: I bought mine primarily so I could enjoy my choice of music in the car without the annoyance of crappy DJs and the deluge of ads.

And yes, Madeleine Peyroux ROCKS! Love her!
