Sunrise, Moonset...

Good morning, sun. Good morning, moon. It's time to rise from bed...
Clearly, I should not write children's books!

Sunrise, moonset... Sunrise, moonset... Swifty flow the days...

Is there a musical with a song that has those words? Okay, I know. I know. There isn't. But close enough, right?

Snapped this photo a couple of weeks ago as the sun was coming up and the moon was still bright.

Happy (Photo) Friday!

I believe the musical you're speaking of is the lesser known sequel to Fiddler On The Roof, Fiddler Fell Off The Roof.

NG: That's right! I remember now. I think the words to that musical go something like this:

Sunrise, moonset, sunrise, moonset
Swiftly flowed the drinks
My old lady's gonna kill me
If I'm not sober I'll get a Get...

I always wondered what that time of day looked like.

Beautiful. Worth getting up for.

Girl give up the flower shop idea and go into photography, wow, you've got an eye.

Abgue: Thank you! Although, I have to say, most of my photography is just dumb luck.

Phoebe: Yeah, I think that, too, every time I'm up early enough to see a nice sunrise. You'd think it would motivate me to get up early every day, but it doesn't!

Cele: I think Bishop Aitch suggested a while back that I combine both! Could you imagine? "Hi, buy these flowers. Need a card? Here, buy one of mine..." Oh, I like it... Hm.
