Today's Post...

Brought to you by the letter G, the number five, and the color pink.

I'm making my debut appearance as guest blogger over at the fabulous Gunfighter's locale. Check out my post with five pictures about things in pink.

Thanks, Gunny, for the opp!

Getting back on track with Photo Friday, this week's photo is one I took last night on my way home from Krispy Kreme down in Alexandria on Route 1. I decided to take the George Washington Memorial Parkway back to D.C. and en route passed Gravelly Point just south of National Airport.

Nighttime landing : Washington National Airport

Here, for your viewing pleasure, is a landing sequence. I think I'm going back tonight before it gets pitch dark and try again.

Happy (Photo) Friday everyone!

Is that upside down or am I just confused?

Lacochran: No, it's right side up. The airport is to the right, the Potomac to the left. The picture was taken at Gravelly Point, just south of the airport.

Budgie: Thanks!

Cele: Night photography is so much fun. I only have two or three tricks in my bag and need to expand my abilities.

If you want to see a great night photo, visit Rob over at Twin Cities Daily Photo. This picture just blew me away!
