Thank you for posting that! I didn't get to see the SNL clip of the Palin/Biden "debate" quotie quotie quoties.
It really bugs me that politicians think we don't notice when they won't answer questions. OK, well, they know that 50% of us don't notice when they won't answer questions. But the 50% of us who do notice are disgusted.
Thank you Jesus for SNL and The Daily Show, and Tina Fey
Phoebe: It isn't in the nature of a politician to answer a question directly. That's why we have Tina Fey and John Stewart: so the 50% who don't notice will and the 50% who do can laugh (or cry.)
IT's just damn amazing how close to the real debate it was. Question, after the first SNL episode, don't you think someone in the McCain camp would have figured it out and shut her up with all that insanity??? No, apparently they told her to say it as many times as she could.
Virginia: In a practical, intelligent, high-minded campaign, yes, I think someone would have reined her in by now. But the McCain campaign is about distraction, dirty lies, and dumbing down. As a result, Palin fits into their plan perfectly!
Maya: Didn't you love the line where she says something like, "I'd like to give a shout out to the third graders at Glen Wood Elementary who helped me with my debate prep"? I almost choked on my drink from laughing!

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Seriously! Oh, and Tina Fey rocks.

Yes! I loved that one. Those SNL people are brilliant!
Maya: The SNL team deserve a serious handful of Emmy's for their Palin parodies.
