Wicked: I cried, too. This speech will go down in the annals of history as one of the defining speeches of the 21st century.

Dingo: Isn't it great? Such a blessed relief compared to what this site was originally.

We did indeed! I was totally tearing up. Sasha and Malia are so damn cute - glad they will be gracing our White House with their presence.

I've had discussions with folks about how the art of oratory is dead. There have been few great orators in this century. I've heard, Kennedy, Churchill, Hitler (as evil as he was, he could stir a crowd), Martin Luther King Jr., and very few others. Bill Clinton came close, but he made you listen and think more than he stirred your blood. Barack Obama is one hell of an orator.

FII: It will be great to see kids in the White House again. The buzz around here is, will the Obamas send their daughters to a D.C. public school, like the Carters did with their daughter Amy, or will they do what the Clintons with Chelsea and send them to a private school. As for Idaho, 36% voted for Obama. Like Utah, that's more than voted for Kerry, Gore, or Clinton! Well done.

Gilahi: I agree. Clinton was easy on the ear and drew you in with his ability to deliver a message or idea, but Obama stirs every emotion. And compared to what we've had the last eight years, he is an oracle.
