Peep Art, Ilana Greenstein and Jane Dokko--
part of the Washington Post's Second Annual Peep Show!
Last year, the
Washington Post started a diorama contest where the medium was Peeps--those awful marshmallow sugar aberrations that use to only appear at Easter but are now popping up for every holiday.
Today, WaPo posted this year's submissions to Peep Show II.
Check it out!

Oh mi god I love it. Damn and I'd already done my peep blog for the year one of these would have gone awesomely with it. Especially one with Purple Peeps.
BTW I love peeps especially stale ones. JulieAnn thinks I am full blown gross.
As far as I'm concerned, the only appropriate uses for those things are non-edible ones.
Cele: I know! How fun, right? Although, I'm totally bummed. I missed the announcement for this year's contest and thereby missed the deadline. Not next year, though. I'm going to start cogitating now. Wanna help?
NG: I think the adoration of Peeps falls into two very polarized categories: those who love them and those who hate them. There's no in-between it seems. I'm in your camp.
Cele is in the same camp my mom is in, including the staleness factor.
Tewkes, I totally love stale peeps. After reading your post this morning I went shopping and ate a whole twelve pack of peeps bunnies between three stops. I think I need a twelve step plan, I didn't even let the damn things get stale.
OMG, Cele. I definitely think you need a 12-step program for your 12 Peep problem! ;-) I'm glad there are people in the world who like Peeps. In fact, I have a package sitting on the dining room table as my Easter gift to my mom. She'll be here in about an hour!
12 peep plan... I am thinking about next years' Peep Show. Now I just have to think of a good theme. hmmmm.
Those are so, so funny.
