Permission Granted...

Flat Stanley being photographed from the top of the Lincoln Memorial

My friend, the EcoFellow, said he was fine with me posting a picture of him and Flat Stanley. I only have two: this one and one of him leaning against Einstein whilst holding Flat Stanley. I opted for the former because it also includes Sister NoMo and it was an action shot. This is the two of them at the top of the Lincoln Memorial taking a picture of Flat Stanley with the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol behind him.

So there you have it. For those of you who were wondering who Flat Stanley is, he's that little paper doll dude in Sister NoMo's hand that the EcoFellow is photographing!

Ah! That's the ticket.

I worry about Flat Stanley. Will a "True Hollywood Story" on E be in his future?

I LOVE Flat Stanley. The photo is awesome.

Lacochran: A 'True Hollywood Story' about Flat Stanley would be flat-out fabulous! Or, what about a 'City Confidential' feature the untimely demise of Flat Stanley? Too bad Paul Winfield is dead and A&E isn't doing that one anymore. Or, maybe Flat Stanley on 'Inside the Actor's Studio with James Lipton'! Okay, now I'm just being silly....

Jess: Thanks! As for Flat Stanley, as I said, I had no idea!

Well it would be easier than packing around a ghome or a monkey beanie baby, although the monkey would hold up better - but look sillier.

I was once asked to pose with Flat Stanley at a random restaurant in Manhattan. :)

Cele: Very true!

Liz: Excellent! Though photographic evidence would go a long way... :-)

Ah, Flat Stanley, glad to know he's still going strong. A US blogger friend emailed him to London a few years ago when our daughters were younger...he had a lovely few days here.
