Traveling in the States
Last week, I took two days and went down to Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. I've posted a series of photos about my adventures on my photography blog, D.C. Confidential. These three photos have proven to be the most popular in the group.
Happy (Photo) Friday everyone!

All interesting. I especially like the "draw the shutters" one. Nicely done.
Very pretty. All of my pictures from my London trip look like "tourist pictures". Agh.
Yup. Definitely my favs!
Lacochran: Thanks! Draw the Shutters has been getting lots of appreciative comments. The guy just happened to walk into that room just as I walked down the stairs and into the entry. It was serendipitous!
FII: Thank you! I have lots of touristy pictures, too, so you're not alone!
Maya: Good!
Your pictures always astound me, Tewks. These are especially good.

I love the belfrey picture, awesome. You have great perspective.
Pheebs: Thank you. I'll tell you a secret... Sometimes, my pictures astound me, too!
Cele: Thanks! For the belfry picture, I tried to get down low and shoot up. And I played with the light settings a bit, too.
At the risk of sounding redundant, I just loooove that first photo. Well done!
Love "Draw the Shutters." Really brings you in and focuses you.
I love the second one- all those colors. Beautiful.
NG: Thanks! I like that one, too.
Katherine: Thank you! I really had fun taking that one.
Liz: Isn't that wallpaper funkalicious?!
These are all great! I think I like Draw The Shutters best. The color dynamic is amazing and I find myself just wanting to stare at it.
I have always wanted to go down to Williamsburg and Jamestown -- when I'm feeling a little better, I'll have to take you out for coffee and ask you all about it!
And now, back to the sofa...
