"I'm With the Taliban Against America." Yeah, That's a Winner, Ya Wankers!

Ah, the Republicans and their pundits. I know not all Republicans think like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, or Bill O'Reilly, but seriously? Those dudes are making any of you who belong to the Republican Party and have even a smidgen of brain matter and firing synapses look stupid. Really.

It was refreshing this morning to pop open the Washington Post and read these two columns by Eugene Robinson and Richard Cohen. Both validated my sentiments and writing. Maybe I should enter the Post's contest to be a weekly columnist. Or not. Here is:

Obama's High Bar

and

A Nobel for Us

I'm involved in a birthday dinner group..small but nice..four times a year. And everytime we meet, Glen Beck is one of the political subjects that the OTHER three talk about every.single.time. Number 1...I'm real sick of hearing only political talk. I'd rather hear juicy gossip about other members of my....well never mind. Number 2....try as I might, I cannot see the vision of what they see in Glen Beck. I'm sure he might be a real nice person. But...I just cannot get into him. And at times, he is a bit ....well..embarrassing. And it's like my mind is willing him to keep his mouth shut on some subjects.

Back to Bugs Bunny and the Coyote. Wait..maybe not! Who did he try to catch?

Cele: You're welcome!

Maya: Thanks! I probably should have entered that contest.

Lucy: Wile Coyote and the Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. And I'm with you, Glenn Beck is an ass and an embarassment! Perhaps at the next dinner party, you could bring up Wile Coyote and the Roadrunner and ask each person who they think each character symbolizes and what the metaphor in that relationship is! That oughta change the subject real quick! :-D
