Sun and Shadow + Cathedral = Cool

Washington National Cathedral in the afternoon sun

This week's Photo Friday picture is for Jess over at Du Wax Loolu. I was going to post it on my photography blog last week as part of a weekly posting I participate in called 2 Things Challenge, but then I found other stuff to photograph and post. Anyway--here you go, Jess! Have fun in Chicago and Happy Birthday!

And Happy (Photo) Friday to everyone else!

Debi: Thank you! I love it when the sun cooperates!

Abgue: Well, hm. I definitely don't know what that's all about... Although, there are several, er, upright structures there...

Cele: I'm just lucky more than anything.

Awesome shot, Tewkes! I always love seeing your pics. I'm planning on getting out this weekend to do some shooting, so hopefully I'll have some of my own to share in the next few days.

Very cool!

And completely unrelated- I see that you are reading the Tolle book. What do you think? My mom wanted to read it along with my sister and I and I'm having a hard time getting into it...

LG: Can't wait to see what you shoot! There so much to photograph in Utah, it's hard to know where to begin. I use to love taking pictures when I lived there.

Liz: I just barely picked it up a few days ago. To be honest, I haven't cracked the spine yet, but I'm planning to this evening. Can I get back to you? Are you doing the Monday webinars Oprah is doing along with this book?

I watched one of the webcasts, but that's it.

I still haven't progressed beyond Chapter 2...

Liz: I haven't watched any of the webcasts and I haven't even made it halfway through Ch. 1. Bad sign, huh?
