Tomb of President James Madison
Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia

Somehow, I forgot to post a picture for Photo Friday last week. I think I can blame it on helping my dad put up wallboard and tape and plaster the same. So, this week, I give you two for one. The first is a tight shot of the tomb of President James Madison in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia. I'll be doing a series on Richmond on my other blog in a few days, including another picture of this tomb.

Line of sight shot of Washington from the Netherlands Carillon Plaza

This second photo was taken on Memorial Day from the Netherlands Carillon Plaza near Arlington National Cemetery and the Marine Corps Memorial. In the distance, on the other side of the river, the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol.

Happy (Photo) Friday!
